How to turn on multi-factor sign-in

Open your profile, start the security setup, scan the code with an authenticator app, type the six-digit code it shows, and save your ten recovery codes.

Steps

  1. Install an authenticator app

    Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, 1Password and Bitwarden all work.

  2. Start the setup

    Open your profile and start the multi-factor setup in the security section.

  3. Scan the code

    In the app choose Add account and scan the code. If you cannot scan, type the setup key into the app.

  4. Confirm with a code

    Type the six-digit code the app shows for ZimraStudio. It changes every 30 seconds.

  5. Save your recovery codes

    Ten recovery codes are shown once. Save them somewhere safe, then finish.

Good to know

  • If the code is never accepted, check that your phone's date and time are set to automatic.
